Ladakh Adventure Itinerary: Mountains, Monasteries, and Memories

Day 1: Delhi – Leh

  • Fly from Delhi to Leh.

  • Arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel.

  • Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 2: Explore Leh

  • Visit Leh Palace and Tsemo Gompa.

  • Stroll through Leh Market and explore local bazaars.

Day 3: Monastery Tour

  • Day trip to Alchi Monastery and Likir Monastery.

  • Return to Leh for overnight stay.

Day 4: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La

  • Drive through the famous Khardung La Pass.

  • Explore Diskit Monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes.

  • Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 5: Nubra Valley Sightseeing

  • Full day exploring Nubra Valley: local villages, scenic landscapes, and culture.

Day 6: Nubra – Pangong Lake

  • Drive along the Shyok River to Pangong Lake.

  • Enjoy the stunning landscapes and lakeside views.

Day 7: Pangong – Leh via Chang La & Chemrey

  • Visit Chang La Pass and Chemrey Monastery.

  • Return to Leh for overnight stay.

Day 8: Leh – Tso Moriri Excursion (Optional day trip)

  • Visit Tso Moriri Lake, Mahe Bridge, Chumathang, Hemis, Thiksey, and Shey Monasteries.

  • Return to Leh and rest.

Day 9: Monastery Exploration

  • Spend the day visiting Hemis, Thiksey, and Shey Monasteries.

  • Explore more of Leh at leisure.

Day 10: Leh – Delhi – Agra

  • Fly from Leh to Delhi.

  • Transfer to Agra and visit the Taj Mahal.

  • Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 11: Agra – Delhi

  • Visit Agra Fort and other local attractions.

  • Return to Delhi for overnight stay.

Day 12: Departure

  • Depart from Delhi for your onward journey back home.
